Hussain Mohammed Ali (HMA) embarked on his professional journey in 1967 as a Traffic Officer with Middle East Airlines in Dubai. By 1971, he had advanced to the role of Station Manager for the airline in the Sultanate of Oman. Transitioning to the diplomatic arena in 1973, Mr. Ali served in embassies across Austria, Vienna, London, and the United Nations in New York. His distinguished career saw him appointed as Ambassador to the United Kingdom in 1989, at the remarkable age of 35, marking Oman’s most prestigious foreign posting. Concurrently, he held the position of non-resident Ambassador to The Hague, Dublin, and Luxembourg. Upon his return to Oman, Mr. Ali continued to contribute as a senior adviser at the Diwan of the Royal Court until his retirement in 1996, when he shifted his focus entirely to his business ventures. His entrepreneurial pursuits include ownership of two companies and several partnerships and investments.
